Jeroen (1982) is an experienced lawyer with more than fifteen years of experience in both legal practice and in-house positions, with a strong focus on Data (protection), AI and Tech.
Education & work experience
He began his career as a lawyer at a medium-sized law firm, focusing on corporate law and commercial contracts. He then worked as a senior IT and privacy lawyer at a leading international internet service provider and an international insurance company (NN Group NV).
In 2020, Jeroen founded Lawrence, a boutique advisory firm specializing in data protection and privacy law in M&A transactions. After a stint as partner (2023-2026), Jeroen continued his practice under Lawrence, with a sharp focus on Data (Protection), AI & Tech.
Expertise
Over the years, his practice has evolved from an exclusive focus on privacy due diligence to a broader spectrum of European data and technology legislation. Today, he conducts comprehensive Legal Data Due Diligence investigations, addressing not only the GDPR, but also DORA, the NIS2 Directive, the Data Governance Act, the Digital Services Act (DSA), the Digital Markets Act (DMA), the EU Data Act, and the AI Act.

Jeroen is the father of a daughter (born in 2012) and a passionate wine and music lover. He used to be a musician and played all the major venues in the Netherlands, including the famous Paradiso in Amsterdam as a headliner. His music and the band's videos were frequently played on national radio and television (including TMF/3FM).

Robert-Guillaume has been with Lawrence Advocaten since 2026. He focuses on a wide range of issues in the areas of privacy law and data protection (in M&A transactions), complex commercial/IT contracts, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.
Education & work experience
Robert-Guillaume obtained his bachelor's degree in International Business Law and his master's degree in Corporate Law from Leiden University.
He also completed his master's degrees in International Technology Law and Internet, Intellectual Property, and ICT Law with honors from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. During his studies, Robert-Guillaume gained experience at various international law firms. Before joining Lawrence, Robert-Guillaume worked as a lawyer at Turing Advocaten from mid-2024 to 2026.
